• Ongoing need for up to three coverage blocks monthly
• Combined inpatient and outpatient ENT coverage
• Broad General Otolaryngology scope
• Athena and Cerner EMRs

• Future Dates: To be determined
• Expected Commitment: Up to three Monday-to-Monday blocks per month
• Full Blocks Required: Partial coverage will not be considered
• Clinical Hours: Friday ÄìSunday, 8:00 AM Äì5:00 PM
• Call: Friday ÄìSunday, beginning at 7:00 AM
• Call Type: Beeper
• Call Response Time: 15 Äì20 minutes
• Setting: Inpatient and outpatient
• Patient Population: Adults age 18 and older
• Call Volume: Approximately zero to three patients
• Rounding: Assigned and unassigned patients
• Facility Size: 209 beds
• EMR: Athena and Cerner
• Credentialing: Approximately 120 Äì180 days
• Temporary Privileges: Available
Requirements
• Board-Certified Otolaryngologist
• Otolaryngology fellowship training
• Active California medical license
• Current BLS
• At least 50 relevant case logs from the past 24 months
• Ability to cover complete assigned stretches
• Hospital privileges required
Clinical Details
• Provide surgical and nonsurgical General Otolaryngology care
• Evaluate inpatient and outpatient ENT patients
• Perform endoscopic septal and sinus procedures
• Perform flexible and rigid bronchoscopy and laryngoscopy
• Manage airway emergencies and perform tracheotomy
• Provide General and Complex Head and Neck Surgery
• Thyroidectomy, parotidectomy, neck surgery, and facial reconstruction experience preferred
• Complete admissions and round on assigned and unassigned patients
• No APP, resident, or teaching supervision responsibilities
