Description - Your Contributions

• Conduct a variety of standard and specialized clinical laboratory tests, including chemistry, hematology, and immunology, following established protocols.
• Evaluate test results for precision, resolve errors, and carry out preventative maintenance and calibration on laboratory equipment.
• Assist with sample collection and preparation for tests as necessary.
• Maintain meticulous documentation of all procedures, mentor new colleagues or students, and uphold the laboratory's quality assurance standards.
• Ensure a clean and safe work environment while complying with regulatory and accreditation guidelines.

Education

• A Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or an equivalent allied health degree, along with preparation for ASCP/AMT certification.

Certifications

• ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) must be completed within the first year of employment.
• Maintain active certification at all times during employment.
