HR Assistant
LHH is partnering with a client to identify an HR Assistant for a temporary assignment covering an internal leave. This position starts with structured training and quickly transitions into a more independent, hands-on role. It's a great fit for someone who enjoys a fast-moving, employee-focused environment and is confident navigating systems while solving day-to-day HR inquiries.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the primary contact for employee questions related to HR processes, payroll, and benefits
- Manage and resolve inquiries through a case management system, ensuring accurate documentation and timely follow-up
- Take initiative on outbound communication to collect necessary details and bring open cases to resolution
- Assist with system support, including login issues, password resets, and general user navigation
- Review employee data and help determine eligibility for various HR-related processes, including rehire status
- Provide administrative support throughout onboarding and other stages of the employee lifecycle
- Escalate complex or sensitive matters to the appropriate internal teams while maintaining clear communication
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in HR support, payroll, customer service, or a shared services environment
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively across all levels of an organization
- Comfortable handling phone-based interactions and managing follow-ups
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy
- Tech-savvy with the ability to learn new systems quickly and work efficiently in a high-volume setting
Pay Details: $21.00 to $24.00 per hour
