Senior Application Administrator - SAP

The SAP Operations team is comprised of five technical specialists responsible for SAP platform administration, integration, security, reporting, and development, along with four Functional Analysts aligned to key business capabilities across the enterprise. This role will collaborate with technical and functional team members, Solution Integrator resources, Application Management Services vendors and business stakeholders to support and continuously improve our SAP ecosystem.Growth and development are important aspects of this position. Whether you aspire to be a leader or a technical expert, this position will set you up for success in the future.Primary ResponsibilitiesEnsure proper setup and ongoing management of the SAP S/4HANA landscape, including BTP environments and the subset of solutionsEnsure proper setup and ongoing management of SAP Commerce Cloud, Datasphere, SAC, IBP, OpenText, etc.Implement, upgrade, and support the latest SAP S/4HANA systems versionsActively engage with Solution Architects to ensure alignment on integration designs and any implications to the overall cloud architecture strategyPerformance monitoring/reporting, license consumption management and system tuning following industry best practices and standardsSolution governance and transport management utilizing our Rev-Trac solutionMonitor critical risks in SAP systems and work with risk owners to remediate or mitigate riskManage technical architecture analysis, design, build, test, and deploy for SAP systems.Plan and execute the yearly disaster recovery (DR) test proceduresEnsure adherence to SAP best practices for backup and recoveryMaintain the ongoing reliability, performance, management, and support of SAP application environments.Create and monitor application jobs and queuesCollaborate with various departments to ensure the successful implementation and support of all SAP systems within our ecosystemDevelop and maintain documentation related to SAP system administration best practicesSupport production operations in resolving Incidents and Requests reported by ends usersPartner with our AMS provider on issue resolution and enhancements, or new requests for functionalityRespond to system outages and be available for on call support as neededAct as a leader and mentor to the SAP Ops Team members.We value our employees by providing:Competitive compensation based on skillsIndustry leading health, dental, and vision plansGenerous 401 (K) savings and profit sharingOn-site UW Health clinic, fitness center, and walking pathsEducation assistance and internal training programsElectric vehicle chargingMaternity & paternity leaveInterested in learning more on our robust benefits package we offer?
