Work Environment

The Physical Therapist position is onsite, primarily serving patients in their homes across Brooklyn. Key Responsibilities

• Educate patients and their families on effective body mechanics, therapeutic techniques, and home exercise programs that foster recovery and self-management beyond in-clinic sessions.
• Utilize advanced modalities such as electrical stimulation, ultrasound, and heat/cold therapy under the appropriate clinical guidelines to enhance treatment effectiveness.
• Monitor and document patient progress diligently, assessing parameters such as range of motion, strength improvements, and functional outcomes to inform ongoing treatment adjustments.
• Prepare and maintain treatment areas efficiently, ensuring that therapy sessions are conducted in a clean and organized manner, with all necessary equipment available.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, which includes Occupational Therapists and Speech-Language Pathologists, to coordinate comprehensive care strategies that optimize patient rehabilitation.
