Treatment Coordinator

Overview

Castle Dental, supported by Smile Brands, is seeking a Treatment Coordinator (TCC) to join our Cedar Park, TX team.

The Treatment Coordinator plays an important role in helping patients understand their recommended dental treatment and providing a positive experience from diagnosis through scheduling. This position works closely with the dentist, clinical team, and front office to ensure patients receive clear information about their treatment options and are comfortable moving forward with their care.

The ideal candidate is patient-focused, organized, confident communicating treatment recommendations, and comfortable discussing financial options and insurance benefits.

Schedule (days/hours)

Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday 8am-5pm
Responsibilities

• Welcome and build strong relationships with patients throughout their treatment journey.
• Coordinate and schedule patient treatment following the dentist's diagnosis and recommendations.
• Explain recommended treatment plans, procedures, and next steps to patients in a clear and compassionate manner.
• Discuss treatment costs, insurance benefits, financing options, and payment arrangements.
• Follow up with patients who have diagnosed but unscheduled treatment.
• Partner closely with dentists and clinical team members to ensure treatment plans are accurately communicated.
• Verify insurance benefits and assist patients in understanding their coverage.
• Maintain accurate patient records and treatment documentation.
• Coordinate appointments and help ensure the practice schedule is optimized.
• Communicate with patients by phone and other appropriate channels regarding treatment and scheduling.
• Provide exceptional customer service and help create a welcoming patient experience.
• Support practice goals related to treatment acceptance, patient retention, and overall practice performance.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with all applicable policies, procedures, and regulations.

Qualifications

• Willing to train
• Knowledge of dental terminology
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service

Compensation

21-25 (lower end for a new grad)
