About The Unit We are a 35‑bed Patient Family Centered Care (PFCC) Rehabilitation Unit designed for patients with intensive therapy needs. The average length of stay is between 12–14 days. This transitional setting serves patients who are medically stable, motivated, and able to physically tolerate three hours of therapy per day, five days per week. Our team includes patients, their families, and medical and case‑management professionals. We use a team approach to create individualized treatment plans. The hospital offers specialty services including 24‑hour emergency care, wound care, hyperbaric oxygen therapy, a surgical pavilion, a pain management clinic, orthopedic surgery, an inpatient rehabilitation facility, and full‑service radiology with advanced CT, fixed MRI, cinema vision, and ultrasound (MSK and elastography). Scope of Work The Charge Lead Nurse role provides direct oversight and supervision of all on‑line unit processes. Responsibilities include staffing and scheduling decisions, addressing patient‑care issues and concerns, allocating resources for all codes, handling employee matters, and ensuring a consistent flow of patients through the department. All activities are carried out within the framework of hospital policies and procedures and demonstrate a focus on growth and development. Qualifications Associate’s Degree or equivalent; graduation from an accredited nursing school (required) Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (preferred) For new hires or recent promotions with an ADN or diploma, a BSN must be completed within five (5) years of hire (required) Minimum of two (2) years of relevant nursing experience (required) Active RN licensure in the State of Michigan (required at hire) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from AHA or American Red Cross, or Canadian Heart & Stroke Foundation (required at hire) Benefits Comprehensive benefits package to meet financial, health, and work/life balance goals.
