Position Lead Supplier Program Management Specialist (Level 5) supporting Space Launch Systems (SLS) at our supplier Moog in East Aroura, New York. Position Responsibilities Oversees technical and business guidance to critical suppliers and programs Leads strategic supply chain activities to manage work with suppliers and programs Manages all aspects of supplier and stakeholder relationships and performance throughout all contract phases Leads supplier assessments and the development of recovery plans, corrective and preventative actions Leads the development of company or business unit procurement strategies Provides oversight, guidance, and verification of work movement projects Communicates supplier and organization performance plan risks, issues, and opportunities to stakeholders Manages work movement plans Work Location and Shift This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options. This position is for 1st shift. Compliance This position must meet U.S. export control compliance requirements. A “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. 120.62 is required (includes U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee). Basic Qualifications Technical Bachelor's, Master's or a PhD degree. (A technical degree is defined as any four year degree, or greater, in a mathematic, scientific or information technology field of study) More than 10 years of experience in root cause analysis and Corrective action More than 10 years of experience creating, interpreting and/or enforcing technical requirements Preferred Qualifications More than 10 years of experience working with suppliers in a technical capacity More than 10 years of experience in negotiating contracts or managing supplier performance More than 10 years of experience interpreting and/or enforcing contract terms and conditions More than 10 years of experience with proposal development and contract negotiations More than 10 years of experience managing suppliers/vendors to deliver products and services More than 10 years of experience working directly with suppliers or supplier management Conflict of Interest Successful candidates must satisfy the Company’s Conflict of Interest (COI) assessment process. Travel Position may require travel up to 25% of the time. Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. Summary pay range: $140,250 - $173,250.
