Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Joliet, IL

$41.4 - $61.4 per hour

Step into a dynamic educational environment providing services to elementary-aged children or early learners as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or Clinical Fellow (CFY). This contract opportunity starts with an in-depth orientation on August 3, 2026, with students arriving August 17 and continuing through June 7, 2027. As a valued member, you'll work full-time-37.5 hours weekly-with access to extensive resources and a supportive team culture.

Key Qualifications:

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field
Current or pending Illinois SLP license
SLP-CCC credential, or eligible CFY candidates encouraged to apply
Experience or passion for working with elementary or early childhood populations
Strong interpersonal, organizational, and collaborative skills

Your Role:

Deliver speech-language therapy to students in individual and group settings
Conduct screenings, evaluations, and develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
Maintain up-to-date records and progress reports
Engage in process improvement initiatives to elevate program quality
Participate in monthly meetings and join roundtable discussions with colleagues
Regularly check in with leaders and supervisors for feedback and professional growth
