Highland Care Center, a premier healthcare facility in Holladay, Utah, is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our dynamic team! As a valued member of our clinical staff, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care to our patients and contributing to their journey towards optimal well-being.
About the Role:
As a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) at Highland Care Center, you will be responsible for:
- Conducting comprehensive assessments and treatments for patients with speech, language, and swallowing disorders
- Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans to achieve patient goals and improve communication skills
- Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care and achieve patient outcomes
- Providing education and support to patients, families, and caregivers to promote independence and wellness
- Participating in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes
Responsibilities:
• Conduct speech, language, and swallowing evaluations and assessments
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address patient goals and needs
• Provide speech, language, and swallowing therapy to patients
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure comprehensive care and achieve patient outcomes
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers on communication strategies and techniques
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes
