Shipping Lead

As a Shipping Lead, you are part of the Shipping team that ensures the shipping functions at your facility run in an efficient manner to guarantee customer satisfaction.

You will contribute by:

• Distributing outbound loads to the Selectors for selection of product
• Ensuring that trailers are at the correct doors in a timely fashion
• Communicating trailer temperature needs and verifying as correct
• Working with the Warehouse management to ensure all dispatch times are met for outbound loads
• Working with the Shipping Clerks to closely manage all shipping functions
• Entering and adjusting information in the WMS system to ensure accurate information is transmitted to the necessary personnel
• There may be other duties assigned to you as needed by your supervisor

Your work environment may include:

• Warehouse: Perishable Warehouse (28F to 60F)

We're searching for candidates with:

• At least six months of warehouse experience
• Electric Pallet Jack experience preferred
• Strong planning and execution skills
• Ability to work with and through others to achieve desired results
• Strong team orientation and collaboration to work effectively in a team environment
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with people at all levels in the organization
• Ability and willingness to follow all safety policies and procedures
