This role is responsible for managing client accounts, responding to inquiries, and providing guidance on insurance coverage options. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing quotes, processing policy changes, handling renewals, and following up on leads. The Account Manager will maintain accurate records, support claims-related questions, and collaborate with team members to meet agency sales and service goals. The role also involves proactive outreach to existing and prospective clients to build long-term relationships and ensure a positive customer experience.QualificationsClient relationship and customer service skills, including the ability to build trust, listen actively, and resolve issues professionally.Sales and account management abilities, such as prospecting, negotiating, and meeting individual and team performance targets.Organizational and administrative skills, including attention to detail, time management, and accurate documentation of client interactions.Communication skills, with clear, professional verbal and written communication and the ability to explain insurance concepts in simple terms.Basic technology proficiency, including familiarity with CRM or agency management systems, email, and standard office software.Ability to work on-site in Rockville Centre, NY, collaborate effectively with colleagues, and contribute to a positive team environment.Prior experience in insurance, financial services, or a customer-facing role is preferred; relevant licenses (suchas Property & Casualty) are a plus or may be required within a set timeframe.High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education orprofessional certifications related to insurance or business are beneficial.
