Job Opportunity – CT Technologist – Anchorage, AK 99503

Start Date: As soon as possible

Location: Anchorage, Alaska – Specialty rehabilitation and long-term acute care hospital

Schedule: 4x10-hour day shifts, primarily Monday-Thursday, 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM with 2-3 nights of on-call coverage per week. Guaranteed 70 hours per two-week period. May float to nearby affiliate hospital (approximately 10-minute drive) to support staffing needs.

Highlights:

• Low-volume setting in a 56-bed specialty hospital featuring a 10-bed LTACH/ICU and 46-bed inpatient rehabilitation unit
• CT imaging on GE 16-slice scanner plus X-ray coverage using Siemens portable and GE C-arm equipment for modified barium swallow studies
• Epic charting system with comprehensive radiology and cardiology capabilities
• First-time travelers welcome with minimum 1 year of experience required
• Free parking and flexible scrub attire
• Block scheduling available upon request; one time-off request per 13-week assignment

Requirements:

• Valid Alaska state license or ability to obtain (10-12 weeks processing time)
• ARRT (R), ARRT (CT), and BLS certifications required
• Minimum 1 year of CT technologist experience
• Experience with older GE and Siemens CT scanners, as well as Siemens, Fuji, and GE X-ray and C-arm equipment preferred
• Proficiency in contrast administration, venipuncture, IV starts, radiation safety, and PACS systems
• Epic charting experience preferred
• Hepatitis B vaccination required (titers or declination not accepted)
• Two professional references covering 1 year within the last 3 years
• Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility
• Willingness to work 2 out of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's)
