Shape the future of student support as a School Psychologist in the Houston area for the 2026–2027 academic year. This contract opportunity places you at the forefront of school-based care, serving students and collaborating with educators in dynamic South and Central Houston locations. Required Qualifications:

• Hold an active Texas School Psychologist credential or licensure
• Demonstrated school-based experience in a comparable education setting
• Willingness to work full-time hours (37.5 per week), exclusively on-site
• Ability to provide current license documentation at the time of application
• Reliable transportation for consistent daily commute

Role Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive psychological services within a school setting, supporting student well-being, learning, and development
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to plan and implement individualized educational interventions
• Conduct assessments, interpret results, and communicate findings to parents, teachers, and staff
• Maintain timely and detailed documentation in compliance with regulatory and district standards
• Participate actively in eligibility, planning, and review meetings
• Support social-emotional learning and behavioral programs within the school community

The assignment is set from July 30, 2026, through May 28, 2027. Your application should demonstrate your relevant school-based experience and include your current Texas licensure documentation, resume, and availability details. If you've previously worked in the district, be sure to highlight that experience. New hires must be able to complete required fingerprinting promptly at the start of the contract.
