Staff Nurse - Mother Baby Unit - Full-Time

Role Overview Provides high-quality, cost-effective patient care as part of a healthcare team, demonstrating clinical nursing expertise in a specialized unit. Key Responsibilities Clinical Decision Making: Applies nursing knowledge, conducts thorough assessments, develops individualized care plans, and evaluates patient responses to interventions. Patient & Family Relationships: Assesses learning needs, develops educational plans, and delivers culturally and ethically appropriate care addressing physical, psychosocial, and spiritual needs. Clinical Scholarship: Participates in quality improvement, risk management, and supports evidence-based practices to ensure safe patient care and organizational standards. Leadership: Engages in shared governance, mentors new staff, delegates and evaluates care activities, and utilizes electronic documentation. Qualifications & Skills Graduate of an accredited nursing program, current RN licensure, BLS certification, and department-specific certifications such as PALS, ACLS, or NRP as required.
