What You’ll Do:

• Provide anesthesia care for pediatric and neonatal cardiac surgeries, cath lab, EP procedures, and non-cardiac cases
• Manage adult congenital cardiac anesthesia cases, including bypass and interventional procedures
• Support neonatal, infant, and complex congenital heart surgery cases
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and program development
• Collaborate with the CORE CARDIAC TEAM on various cardiac procedures, including ECMO and mediastinal explorations
• Work solo with no CRNAs, supporting a full spectrum of cardiac anesthesia cases
• Ensure accurate documentation and logs of cases within the last 12 months

What You Need:

• Certified Anesthesiologist Assistant credentials and licensing (WA state or eligible through IMLC)
• Recent experience in cardiac anesthesia, neonatal, or pediatric anesthesia (minimum of 12 months logs)
• Ability to work independently in a solo model setting
• Strong knowledge of cardiac, neonatal, and pediatric anesthesia procedures
• Flexibility to cover daytime M-F and additional pediatric cases when available

About the Assignment:
This position involves providing specialized anesthesia support within a pediatric cardiac unit that performs complex congenital heart surgeries, cardiac catheterizations, and EP procedures. The successful candidate will join a dedicated team committed to quality care and continuous improvement, working primarily daytime hours with a focus on pediatric and neonatal cardiac cases.
