This role supports healthcare delivery and patient management with flexibility to meet the evolving needs of the practice.Deliver direct and delegated patient care, recognizing normal and abnormal health indicators to identify at-risk patients. Provide reassurance, education, and clear guidance to patients.Ensure smooth healthcare service delivery during patient visits by accurately updating medical records, initiating patient contact, and preparing patients for examinations. Collect vital signs and patient history, observe and report abnormal symptoms, and ensure patient comprehension of physician instructions.Assist physicians with testing, treatments, minor surgeries, and physical exams. Manage medication samples and logs, coordinate necessary testing and referrals, and handle patient consents for procedures and immunizations. Provide patient education and support medication adherence.Maintain clinical areas by stocking supplies, organizing patient education materials, and ensuring cleanliness and sterilization of instruments and equipment.Perform laboratory tests and maintain lab logs as prescribed.Carry out additional duties as assigned, adapting to the dynamic needs of the healthcare environment.Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant or Nursing Program is required.First shift, full-time (40 hours per week).This position is located in a regional healthcare setting within the Midwest United States.
