Position Details Position Type: Teacher/High School Location: Tartan High School Position: 622 Credit Recovery Teacher - Tartan High School Work Schedule: Monday - Thursday, 3:00 pm - 4:30 pm Start Date: October 2025/ASAP Pay and Benefits: 40.48/hour, Pay and benefits are in accordance with the teacher labor agreement. For more information: Date Available: October 2025 Purpose of Program For students in grades 9 - 12 needing to recover credits to graduate with same-age peers. Required Qualifications Tier 3 or Tier 4 Teaching License for grades 9-12 Work with the district to obtain Cross-Curricular License; you will cover all core curriculum areas Responsibilities Provide instruction in the core curriculum areas(s). Provide student supervision and classroom management for a variety of students and grade levels. Make appropriate use of instructional resources and technologies. Implement the goals and objectives of the District and the school and/or program for which employed. Follow the prescribed course of study, except as authorized in the curriculum outlines or by the principals or other official rules and regulations. Evaluate student performance according to system used by school and/or District; promote student achievement; maintain required student records; make related reports to the principal as prescribed or authorized by the superintendent. Maintain contact and communications with parents of students and work with them in the development of each student. Perform classroom management duties; enforce District rules governing the conduct of students; take appropriate disciplinary action with students who do not follow District rules.
