Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Licensed Therapist (LMSW, LPC, or LLP) to join our Adult Behavioral Health team in Southgate, Michigan. In this role, you will conduct intake assessments, develop initial treatment plans, and help connect adults with mental health services and community resources.

Schedule

• Full-Time
• Day Shift
• Monday–Thursday: 8:30 AM – 7:00 PM
• Friday: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
• Some evening or weekend hours may be required

Compensation

• Limited License: $27.22–$36.63/hour
• Full License: $29.47–$39.88/hour
• Pay based on experience

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive intake assessments and screenings
• Complete clinical documentation within required timelines
• Develop initial treatment and safety plans
• Assess consumer needs, preferences, and goals
• Coordinate referrals and connect clients to appropriate services
• Utilize motivational interviewing and person-centered approaches
• Participate in clinical supervision, team meetings, and case consultations
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation
• Support individuals with mental health and/or substance use challenges

Requirements

• Master's Degree in Social Work, Counseling, or Psychology
• Active Michigan LMSW, LPC, LLP, or equivalent licensure
• Minimum 1 year of post-master's experience working with adults in a mental health setting
• Strong assessment, communication, and documentation skills
• Ability to build therapeutic relationships with clients and families
• Full licensure preferred
