Job Title: Adult Outpatient Therapist (LMSW/LPC/LLPC/LLP)

Location: Southgate, Michigan

Job Type: Permanent | Full-Time

Schedule: Days | 37.5 Hours/Week

Shift: Monday–Friday | Flexible Schedule (Some evenings and weekends as needed)

Compensation:

Limited License: $27.22–$36.63/hour (Based on experience) + Benefits

Full License: $29.47–$39.67/hour (Based on experience) + Benefits

Position Overview

We are seeking a compassionate Adult Outpatient Therapist to join its Adult Behavioral Health team in Southgate, MI. This role provides outpatient mental health services for adults and families through comprehensive assessments, individual and group therapy, treatment planning, and care coordination.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct intake assessments and comprehensive behavioral health evaluations.
• Provide individual and group therapy for adults with mental health and co-occurring substance use disorders.
• Develop person-centered treatment plans.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, primary care providers, families, and community agencies.
• Maintain timely clinical documentation and treatment records.
• Participate in clinical supervision, case consultations, and team meetings.
• Coordinate discharge planning and community referrals.
• Maintain compliance with agency policies, state licensing, and funding requirements.

Qualifications

Required

• Master's Degree in Social Work, Psychology, or Counseling.
• Active Michigan License (LLMSW, LMSW, LLPC, LPC, TLLP, or LLP).
• Minimum one year of experience (including internship/field placement) working with individuals diagnosed with mental illness.
• Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. (No sponsorship available).

Preferred

• Experience in outpatient behavioral health.
• Experience providing individual and group therapy.
• Experience with co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders.
• Strong interdisciplinary collaboration skills.
