Quality Control SupervisorWe are seeking an experienced Quality Control Supervisor to oversee inspection operations within a manufacturing environment. The role involves supervising and scheduling departmental workload, ensuring timely processing of inspection activities, and maintaining high-quality standards across in-process and final inspections.The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical inspection experience, a solid machining/manufacturing background, and expertise in interpreting blueprints, GD&T, and applying quality standards. This position requires hands-on involvement with inspection equipment and the ability to ensure dimensional accuracy and compliance with specifications.Key Responsibilities:Supervise and schedule inspection department activities based on workloadPerform in-process and final inspections using precision measuring equipmentInterpret blueprints and design sketches to ensure dimensional accuracyEnsure adherence to quality standards and inspection proceduresSupport continuous improvement in inspection and metrology processesRequirements:5+ years of experience in Metrology/Inspection fieldStrong mechanical inspection and machining backgroundProficiency in GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing)Understanding of SPC (Statistical Process Control)Experience with inspection tools and equipment; CMM experience preferredComputer proficiency (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint)High School Diploma or equivalentFamiliarity with AS9100 or ISO 9000 standards preferredPrior supervisory or team lead experience is a plusThis is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented professional with strong leadership and technical inspection skills to contribute in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
