Quality Control Supervisor
We are seeking an experienced Quality Control Supervisor to oversee inspection operations within a manufacturing environment. The role involves supervising and scheduling departmental workload, ensuring timely processing of inspection activities, and maintaining high-quality standards across in-process and final inspections.
- Supervise and schedule inspection department activities based on workload
- Perform in-process and final inspections using precision measuring equipment
- Interpret blueprints and design sketches to ensure dimensional accuracy
- Ensure adherence to quality standards and inspection procedures
- Support continuous improvement in inspection and metrology processes
- 5+ years of experience in Metrology/Inspection field
- Strong mechanical inspection and machining background
- Proficiency in GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing)
- Understanding of SPC (Statistical Process Control)
- Experience with inspection tools and equipment; CMM experience preferred
- Computer proficiency (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Familiarity with AS9100 or ISO 9000 standards preferred
- Prior supervisory or team lead experience is a plus
