Position Summary

The Industrial Services Account Manager is responsible for owning client relationships, driving revenue growth, and ensuring operational alignment for industrial cleaning services within assigned accounts. This role serves as the primary liaison between the customer and operations, ensuring work is executed safely, profitably, and in alignment with client expectations.

This position operates in active industrial environments and requires strong coordination with field operations, safety teams, and client stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

1. Account Ownership & Relationship Management

• Serve as primary contact for plant-level and corporate stakeholders
• Build relationships with plant managers, maintenance managers, turnaround coordinators, and procurement teams
• Conduct regular client check-ins and performance reviews
• Identify expansion opportunities within existing sites
• Maintain strong customer satisfaction and retention across all accounts

1. Revenue Growth & Margin Accountability

• Own revenue performance and gross margin for assigned accounts
• Ensure pricing aligns with:
  • Labor requirements
  • Equipment utilization
  • Risk and safety considerations
• Meet or exceed sales targets and growth objectives
• Partner with operations to analyze job performance, cost drivers, and profitability
• Support billing accuracy, ticket validation, and AR follow-up

1. Sales & Business Development (Within Accounts)

• Promote and sell all industrial cleaning service lines to existing clients
• Identify and pursue cross-selling and upselling opportunities
• Stay informed on market trends, competitor activity, and client needs
• Provide feedback to leadership on new service opportunities and gaps

1. Operations Alignment & Execution Support

• Partner closely with:
  • Division Managers
  • Supervisors
  • Dispatch / Scheduling teams
• Participate in:
  • Job walks
  • Scope development and validation
  • Resource planning
• Ensure clear alignment between client expectations and field execution
• Support real-time issue resolution in the field to maintain service quality

1. Safety & Compliance Leadership

• Promote and enforce company and client safety standards
• Ensure all scopes of work align with safe work practices and regulatory requirements
• Participate in:
  • Pre-job planning
  • Safety meetings
  • Client audits
• Reinforce a zero-incident safety culture

1. Contract, Billing & Administrative Oversight

• Ensure purchase orders are secured prior to job execution
• Verify all work tickets are accurate and aligned with scope and pricing
• Assist in resolving billing discrepancies and customer disputes
• Maintain accurate account documentation, reports, and activity tracking

1. Reporting & Continuous Improvement

• Provide regular updates to leadership on:
  • Account performance
  • Customer feedback
  • Revenue opportunities
  • Risks and challenges
• Continuously improve performance through:
  • Client feedback
  • Operational insights
  • Internal collaboration

1. Other Duties as required and/or assigned

Qualifications

• 5+ years in industrial cleaning, plant services, or heavy industrial environments
• Strong understanding of labor-intensive job execution and job costing
• Experience in refineries or petrochemical environments preferred
• Proven ability to manage plant-level relationships
