Front Office/Medical receptionist

Clinic receptionist/ assistant We are a busy and well-established acupuncture practice seeking a receptionist to work in a traditional Chinese and Asian community. Responsibilities include: Basic Prepare the front desk for opening and closing Greeting and check in/out patients Scheduling and managing appointments Collect co-pays and payments on account in person Answering phones, and e-mails related to patient inquiries for care and scheduling or directing patient questions and issues to the appropriate person Administrative duties related to patients' records Assisting the care team with herb dispensary, room turnover, and light cleaning as needed. Additional Checking insurance eligibility online or by phone Billing insurance and recording payments Calling and resolving issues with insurance companies Coordinating credentialing/re-credentialing for providers Desired skills and qualifications we are looking for an outstanding candidate who is passionate about wellness and striving to serve others because you will be the first face our patients see, and the voice behind the phone. Who is/has Strong organization skills, attentive to details Good at multitasking and prioritizing competing responsibilities Proactive in resolving potential issues Friendly and Calming presence Professional Communication Skills Clean and professional appearance Basic and smooth computer skills for administrative work Bilingual with fluency in English, and Chinese (either Mandarin or Cantonese) required, and other languages for Plus. Preferably experience with acupuncture/alternative medicine, or a strong desire to learn.
