Recruitment: Ongoing Position for Spring 2026 The Department of Physical Education & Human Performance (PEHP)at Central Connecticut State University seeks adjunct faculty for EXS 211 Anatomy & Physiology 1 Lab & EXS 212 Anatomy & Physiology 2 Lab in our undergraduate ExerciseScience program. Courses are taught on campus and appointments by semester. EXS 211 Anatomy & Physiology 1 Lab: Exploreshands-on examination of the skeletal system, integumentary and bone history, anatomical planes of movement, andthe articular and muscle origin and insertions EXS 212 Anatomy & Physiology 2 Lab: Exploresmeasurement of physiological variables in the nervous, respiratory, cardiovascular, and skeletal muscle systems Required Qualifications: Master’s degree or higher in the related field as specifiedabove Professional experience that is current, substantial in terms ofduration and level of responsibility Commitment to serving culturally, ethnically and linguisticallydiverse communities. Preferred Qualifications: Doctoral degree in the related field as specified above Professional Certification the related field as specifiedabove Strong teaching skills, and have an ability to use technologyeffectively in teaching and learning Evidence of quality teaching experience Candidates must demonstrate appropriate mastery of the subjectarea; provide students with appropriate learning materials; evaluate students’ performance andprovide effective feedback to guide student learning and success; keep samples of students’ workfor accreditation purposes; and contribute to maintaining an inclusive and collaborativeenvironment.
