Medical Surgical Oncology - Travel Registered Nurse- $2040 per week.

Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• 10 months of Medical Surgical Oncology experience.

• Travel experience is required.

• Experience with Epic is required.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Ohio license or compact license (required after submission).

• This role will require floating to multiple units

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <60 miles from facility will be processed as local.

• 6 months gap required between for Any Contract Type at Program: Aya Program - Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center and no current placement allowed at Program: Aya Program - Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center.

Additional Details:

References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years.

You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.

Required Skills/Experience: - MS and oncology experience in checklist (1 year minimum). - MS/Tele (Medical-Surgical/Telemetry) - Telemetry monitoring - Interpretation of dysrhythmias - Use of Rapid Response Teams - Feeding tube care and management - Blood product administration - Central line blood draw - Peripheral line care/management - PICC line management - Nasal cannula administration

Preferred Skills/Experience: - Heme Onc experience is strongly preferred.

Required Credentials: - Education must be from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program.

Unit Details: - Bone marrow transplant oncology unit with mixed-acuity PCU and med-surg patients. - Adult and geriatric patient population. - Patient diagnoses include acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL), acute myeloid leukemia (adult), amyloidosis, aplastic anemia, chronic leukemia, chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL), chronic myeloid leukemia, Hodgkin’s lymphoma, multiple myeloma, myelodysplastic syndrome, myeloproliferative disorders, and non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma. - Autologous transplants, syngeneic transplants, allogeneic transplants, and CAR-T therapy. - Heavy focus on infection prevention protocols and fall prevention.

Shift & Scheduling: - Weekend requirement varies based on unit needs.

Floating Requirements: - Float to other med-surg oncology units.
