Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical

Job Description

Job Summary:
Provides direct patient care to individuals in medical-surgical and telemetry units during day shifts. Collaborates with healthcare team to deliver safe, efficient, and personalized nursing services.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patients' conditions and develop individualized care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments following hospital protocols.
• Monitor vital signs and respond promptly to changes in patient status.
• Document patient information accurately in the EMR system.
• Educate patients and families about treatment plans and post-discharge care.
• Assist with patient examinations, tests, and procedures as needed.

Qualifications:

• Valid RN license in good standing.
• At least 1 year of Med-Surg or Telemetry nursing experience preferred.
• Proficiency with Meditech EMR system and use of pumps and medication dispensing devices.
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and handle high-pressure situations.
