Data Analyst (Databricks)

Job Title: Data Analyst / Sr. Data Analyst Type: Direct Hire Location: Dallas, TX Summary: Our client is seeking a Data Analyst or Sr. Data Analyst with strong SQL and Databricks experience to support a modern, cloud-based data environment. This role will work within a newly implemented Azure Data Lake and Customer Data Platform (CDP), helping transform raw data into actionable insights. The ideal candidate is highly proficient in SQL, has hands-on experience with Databricks, and understands core data warehousing concepts. Responsibilities Analyze large datasets using Databricks (SQL and some PySpark) within an Azure Data Lake environment Deliver insights, reports, and dashboards driven by data from a newly implemented CDP Explore and validate data to ensure accuracy and usability for business needs Identify data quality issues and partner with engineering teams on resolution Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and support reporting needs Work closely with data engineers as the Databricks and Azure ecosystem evolves Support adoption and optimization of the new data platform across the organization Requirements Strong experience as a Data Analyst Expert-level SQL skills with ability to write complex queries Strong hands-on experience with Databricks Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts and data structures Nice to Have Experience with Python scripting Exposure Spark Equal Employment Opportunity Statement Gravity IT Resources is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
