The registered nurse provides individualized nursing care based on knowledge of basic competencies in the fundamentals of peri-anesthesia nursing and pharmacology using the nursing process applied to geriatric, adult, and adolescent patients from admission through discharge. This position requires knowledge of peri-anesthesia standards of care, airway management, nursing assessment parameters, and pharmacology, including doses, purpose, interactions, side effects, and reactions to medications.

Requirements:
- BLS (AHA)
- CA RN Licensure
- ACLS
- PALS
- 2 years PACU RN Experience Required, preferably in a high acute care hospital, ICU required
- Cath Lab experience preferred

Shift: 4 x 10 days 10A-11A start times; no weekends.
*float required to other CPMC campuses if needed and census permits*

Travel PACU RN Opportunity – Seeking an experienced PACU RN with ICU background, 2+ years of PACU experience, and BLS, ACLS, PALS, & CA RN License for a 4×10 Day Shift assignment at a high-acuity hospital in California.
