Remote Mortgage Compliance Manager- Anywhere in US

Compliance ManagerLocation: Fully Remote- Anywhere in US Compensation: $75,000–$90,000 Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:30 PM Eastern Benefits: Health, dental, and vision insurance with company participation; additional life/disability coverage available; 401(k) after 6 months; PTOOverview: A mortgage company is adding a hands-on Compliance professional to support its internal compliance function. This role will perform disclosure and loan file reviews, serve as the internal QC facilitator, review marketing materials for compliance, coordinate compliance training, track regulatory changes, and communicate applicable requirements to management and staff. This is not a people management role. The company is also expanding and enhancing its existing QC system, and this person will actively assist with that process. This is not a QC oversight-only position. The person hired will personally perform QC and compliance review work. Prior licensing, NMLS, or MCR experience is helpful but not required. An outside licensing provider handles application and renewal submissions. This position will primarily monitor, track, and maintain licensing records internally.Responsibilities:Conduct mortgage disclosure and loan file compliance reviewsPerform hands-on internal QC reviewsIdentify deficiencies, document and track findings, and assist with corrective actionsHelp expand and enhance the existing QC system and processesReview mortgage advertising and marketing materials for complianceReview websites, social media, promotional materials, and electronic communicationsMonitor and coordinate regulatory compliance trainingMonitor federal and state regulatory changesCommunicate applicable compliance requirements to management and staffIdentify regulatory and operational risksCommunicate compliance concerns directly to senior managementMonitor and maintain internal licensing recordsCoordinate with the company's outside licensing provider as neededSupport NMLS and MCR-related matters when applicableQualifications:5 years of mortgage compliance experienceStrong knowledge of federal and state mortgage regulationsExperience conducting mortgage disclosure and loan file reviewsHands-on mortgage Quality Control experienceExperience identifying deficiencies, tracking findings, and assisting with corrective actionsExperience with mortgage advertising and marketing complianceExperience reviewing websites, social media, promotional materials, and electronic communications for complianceExperience coordinating compliance trainingAbility to monitor regulatory changes and communicate applicable requirementsStrong attention to detail and ability to identify regulatory and operational risksAbility to work independentlyComfortable communicating compliance concerns directly to senior managementEncompass experienceLicensing experience is a plus, not requiredNMLS experience is a plus, not requiredMCR experience is a plus, not required
