Work Environment

This role is fully onsite, allowing you to work closely with patients in a supportive rehabilitation environment. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients, accurately assessing their physical abilities and limitations, and developing personalized treatment plans that align with physician directives.
• Implement appropriate therapeutic interventions to enhance mobility, function, and overall quality of life.
• Document patient progress meticulously, maintaining detailed records of evaluations, treatment sessions, and any modifications to care plans as needed.
• Effectively communicate and collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to refine treatment approaches and ensure a cohesive care strategy.
• Supervise and mentor Physical Therapist Assistants and support staff, fostering a collaborative environment that promotes the highest standards of care.
• Participate in ongoing clinical education to stay current with the latest rehabilitation practices and methodologies.
• Evaluate and modify treatment plans based on patients' needs, progress, and feedback, ensuring that therapeutic goals are met.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our primary focus is on patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, neurological conditions, and those grappling with chronic pain. You will work with individuals across various age groups, tailoring each treatment approach to their specific developmental and therapeutic needs. Your work will emphasize rehabilitation techniques that foster independence and empower patients throughout their recovery journey.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Active State License as a Physical Therapist.
• A minimum of two years of experience is required in a clinical setting related to physical therapy.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively engage with patients and colleagues.
• Proficient in utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems for documentation and patient management.

Preferred Experience

• Hands-on experience with a variety of physical therapy approaches, including manual therapy, exercise rehabilitation, and modalities.
• Experience as a Clinical Supervisor or Team Leader is highly advantageous.
• Familiarity with current evidence-based practices and clinical guidelines is essential.
