Gotham Enterprises Ltd is seeking a dedicated and experienced Physical Therapist to join our team in Radford, Virginia. This full-time role will focus on providing high-quality orthopedic care in our state-of-the-art rehabilitation facility. Work Environment

This role is performed onsite in our modern rehabilitation facility located in Radford, Virginia. You will join a collaborative team consisting of two experienced physical therapists and a physical therapy assistant (PTA). Our work environment is designed to foster professional growth as well as maintain a focus on patient-centered care throughout the treatment process.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess and identify individual patient goals and needs to create tailored treatment plans.
• Manage an average patient load of 2-3 patients per hour, ensuring each receives personalized attention and care.
• Utilize orthopedic outpatient therapy techniques to enhance patients' mobility and functional abilities.
• Implement cost-effective treatment strategies that seek to alleviate pain, improve movement, and reduce reliance on medications and surgical interventions.
• Develop comprehensive care plans incorporating various therapeutic modalities and interventions.
• Construct fitness and wellness programs that cater to the specific health and rehabilitation goals of each patient.
• Deliver evidence-based and motivational support to patients throughout their treatment cycles.
• Document all patient care services diligently, maintaining accurate records to monitor progress and treatment effectiveness.
• Consult with other healthcare professionals to optimize patient care strategies and support interdisciplinary care approaches.
• Regularly evaluate treatment effects and modify care plans as needed based on patient responses and progress.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work primarily with orthopedic outpatients with a diverse range of musculoskeletal conditions and injuries. This includes post-operative patients seeking rehabilitation to restore function, individuals recovering from sports injuries, and patients managing chronic pain issues. Your approach will prioritize collaboration with patients to empower them in their recovery journey.

Qualifications

• A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree is required for this position.
• Must possess a valid Virginia Physical Therapist License, with no disciplinary actions on record.
• Strong manual therapy skills and a solid foundation in exercise-based treatments.
• Proficiency in using Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems, specifically WebPT.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of two years of experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting is essential for this role.
• Experience in developing patient-centered therapeutic programs and providing quality care in a fast-paced environment.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position ranges between USD 100,000 and USD 120,000 annually, commensurate with your experience and qualifications.
