Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess the condition and needs of patients, including thorough history reviews and physical assessments to inform treatment plans.
• Communicate findings from evaluations clearly to patients and their families, establishing collaborative goals for recovery.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment protocols based on best practices and the specific needs of each patient, adjusting as necessary to respond to their progress.
• Work in tandem with other healthcare professionals to maintain accurate documentation of patients' conditions and treatment progress, ensuring adjustments to care plans are made as needed.
• Facilitate timely discharge planning and arrange follow-up care for patients, ensuring a seamless transition from therapy.
• Manage your schedule efficiently while meeting established productivity standards, contributing to the clinic's operational goals.
• Participate in community outreach and marketing initiatives, actively promoting the clinic's services.
• Engage in professional development activities, including continuing education and mentorship opportunities to further enhance your skills.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clinic serves a diverse population primarily focused on individuals recovering from orthopedic injuries, post-surgical rehabilitation, and traumatic injuries. Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist in Virginia.
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association.
• A high school diploma or GED equivalent, along with completed studies from an accredited Physical Therapy program.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in an outpatient setting, particularly related to orthopedic rehabilitation, is beneficial but not mandatory.

Compensation and Benefits
