Join our dedicated team at Physio Recovery Center as a full-time Physical Therapist, where you will play a critical role in guiding patients through their journey of rehabilitation. Physio Recovery Center is a leading rehabilitation facility located in the vibrant town of Blacksburg, Virginia. We specialize in providing high-quality orthopedic outpatient physical therapy, focusing primarily on private medical insurance. Our facility is equipped with state-of-the-art technology and encompasses 5,000 square feet dedicated to sports medicine. Work Environment

Working onsite at our spacious and modern facility, you will be part of a collaborative team of two experienced physical therapists and one physical therapist assistant (PTA). Our facility promotes an environment of open communication and teamwork, where all staff members contribute to providing exceptional care to our patients. The work schedule is Monday to Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a consistent routine and work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations to identify patient goals and needs.
• Develop personalized care plans utilizing a variety of treatment techniques for orthopedic conditions.
• Manage patient caseload effectively, typically seeing 2-3 patients per hour.
• Implement cost-effective treatment strategies focused on improving motion and mobility while minimizing reliance on medications and surgical options.
• Design and deliver fitness- and wellness-oriented programs tailored to individual patient requirements.
• Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary based on evaluations.
• Motivate and encourage patients throughout their rehabilitation process to support optimal functional outcomes.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As an orthopedic outpatient facility, we specialize in treating a diverse patient population, including individuals recovering from sports injuries, post-surgical rehabilitation, and those with chronic pain conditions. Our patient-centered approach ensures that we address each patient's unique circumstances and empower them in embracing a healthier lifestyle.

Qualifications

• Legally qualified Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited institution.
• Active Virginia Physical Therapist License with no disciplinary actions.
• Strong manual therapy skills and proficiency in therapeutic exercises.
• Familiarity with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) software, preferably WebPT.

Preferred Experience

• Demonstrated experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting as a Physical Therapist.
• A strong background in evidence-based practice and personalized patient care.

Compensation and Benefits

This full-time role offers a competitive salary range between $90,000 and $110,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
