Work Environment

Our clinic is an onsite outpatient facility where a dynamic and collaborative work environment thrives. The clinic operates Monday to Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a balanced work-life integration while you focus on your passion for helping others.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough initial and ongoing evaluations of patients' physical status to set realistic and individualized treatment goals that promote recovery.
• Develop and implement detailed Plan of Treatment for each patient that incorporates evidence-based practices, appropriate therapy techniques, and patient feedback.
• Continuously assess patient progress and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans to ensure optimal outcomes and recovery timelines.
• Document patient evaluations, treatments, and progress accurately according to facility protocols and healthcare standards.
• Stay up-to-date with advancements in physical therapy by attending workshops, obtaining relevant certifications, and engaging in professional development opportunities.
• Collaborate with physicians, occupational therapists, and other healthcare professionals within the clinic to provide a holistic approach to patient care.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized therapy environment, assisting other team members as needed to enhance the overall patient experience.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The Physical Therapist will primarily work with patients recovering from a range of orthopedic injuries and surgeries, including but not limited to sports injuries, post-surgical rehabilitation, and chronic pain management. Our patients vary in age and abilities, and you will play a pivotal role in guiding them through effective rehabilitation processes that align with their personal health goals.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited physical therapy program with a Master's or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy.
• Current, active license to practice physical therapy in the state of Virginia.
• CPR Certification, including Basic Life Support (BLS) credentials, with AED proficiency.
• A minimum of two years of clinical experience as a Physical Therapist, particularly in orthopedic settings.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working with a diverse patient demographic, showcasing adaptability in treatment approaches.
• Familiarity with advanced physical therapy techniques and technologies that improve patient outcomes.
• Proficiency in electronic medical record (EMR) systems to facilitate documentation and patient follow-up.

Compensation and Benefits

This full-time position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 90,000 to 100,000 , commensurate with experience. In addition, our organization provides:
