Position Overview

Kinetic Revive Physical Therapy is seeking a dedicated and skilled full-time Physical Therapist (PT) to join our dynamic rehabilitation team in Blacksburg, Virginia. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work directly with patients in a Skilled Nursing Facility, where you will assess, diagnose, and implement individualized treatment plans to help our residents regain their mobility and enhance their quality of life.

Work Environment

This full-time position is primarily onsite at our rehabilitation facility in Blacksburg, Virginia. You will work a consistent schedule from Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM, in a well-equipped setting. Our facility is designed with modern amenities to ensure that both our staff and patients have access to the resources they need for successful therapy and recovery.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of residents' physical capabilities to identify therapy needs and establish measurable goals.
• Design, implement, and adjust individualized treatment plans that focus on restoring mobility, alleviating pain, and promoting functional independence.
• Provide direct hands-on therapy incorporating therapeutic exercises, balance training, and mobility interventions tailored to each patient's conditions.
• Educate residents, their families, and caregivers about safe mobility practices, home exercise programs, and strategies to enhance overall health and well-being.
• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team, including nurses, occupational therapists, and other healthcare professionals, to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of treatment plans, patient progress, and outcomes in compliance with rehabilitation facility regulations and standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily work with elderly residents who may be dealing with various conditions requiring rehabilitation such as post-surgical recovery, joint replacements, neurological disorders, and chronic pain. Your expertise will play a vital role in helping our patients regain physical function and confidence in their mobility, ultimately contributing to their return to a more active lifestyle.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate or Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program is required.
• A current Physical Therapy license in good standing for the state of Virginia.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and staff.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of two years of experience in a skilled nursing or geriatric care setting is preferred.
• Experience with patient populations requiring long-term rehabilitation and familiarity with the unique challenges they face.
• Proficiency in developing and implementing evidence-based treatment plans for diverse diagnoses.

Compensation and Benefits
