The Finance team oversees the accounting and financial reporting functions for SFM and the funds it manages. The team is composed of a small group of experienced accounting professionals with strong backgrounds in the investment management industry.Major ResponsibilitiesAccounts Payable and Treasury:Review and verify all incoming invoices for accuracy, completeness, reasonableness, and adhere to company policies and proceduresReview and reconcile credit card charges, verify coding accuracy, and obtain supporting documentationManage and monitor cash flows and perform bank reconciliationsMaintain accurate vendor information within Workday, addressing vendor queries or concerns as they ariseAccounting / Audit / Management/Tax Reporting:Prepare and analyze financial reportsWork on month-end and year-end closingAssist with ad hoc projectsPrepare annual 1099s for recipients and the IRS.What We ValueBachelor's degree in Accounting1-3 years of accounting experience, industry experience is a plus (family office, private investment firm, public accounting)Technology and data minded; knowledge of Workday is a plusProficient in Microsoft ExcelHigh degree of sensitivity and discretion when dealing with confidential informationExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsWe anticipate the base salary of this role to be between $75,000 - $85,000.
