Telemetry (TELE) Registered Nurse (RN) position in a healthcare facility setting. This role involves providing care to patients on telemetry units, managing monitoring equipment, and delivering high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. The assignment is located at a well-equipped healthcare facility, serving a diverse patient population with a focus on cardiovascular monitoring and recovery.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Day shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid RN license, active BLS (Basic Life Support) certification, active ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification, current acute care hospital telemetry experience of at least 1 year, and ability to work in an inpatient healthcare setting with a focus on cardiovascular patients
• Preferred Qualifications: Prior experience with Meditech electronic medical record systems, NIHSS (National Institute of Health Stroke Scale) familiarity, and experience with procedures such as central line management, medication drips, and Heart Cath recovery
• Additional Information: The role involves managing patient care for units with approximately 37 beds, working with equipment such as PCA pumps, IV pumps, and chest tubes. The unit's staff includes RNs, Patient Care Techs, and support personnel, with typical patient ratios of 1:6 or 1:4 in specialized cases.
