Job Summary:
The Business Development (Sales) Representative will understand the targeted sales strategy of the company by working with Senior Leadership. They will actively research new potential client opportunities and identify the most effective and strategic methods to reach out, secure potential leads and convert to clients.

Duties/Responsibilities:
Business Development
· Work closely with Senior Leadership to identify new opportunities in line with the vision and mission of Meeting Achievements and ReVITALIZED Instructional Design by Meeting Achievements.
- Develop plans to acquire new customers or clients through direct sales techniques, cold calling, and business-to-business solicitation
· Build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with them and understanding their needs
· Present sales, revenue and expense reports and realistic forecasts to the management team
· Weekly sales funnel updating/reporting to Supervisor
· Identify emerging markets and market shifts while being fully aware of new products and competition status
· Work closely with managers from other departments to understand client feedback.
· Identify and recommend new prospective opportunities
· Identify opportunities for additional projects with current clients
· Obtain RFP's and craft proposals for submission
· Strategize with Senior Leadership on growth opportunities and avenues to explore
· Show progress in research/outreach converting to new, continued business and meet all KPI's and sales goals
· Meet with marketing team/s to work in tandem toward similar strategies.
· Attend meetings with prospective clients and current clients
· Performs other duties as assigned.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills that may include public speaking and presentations.
- Display a willingness to understand CE compliance, including Pharma Guidelines, and Instructional Design.
· Comply with all company and Client policies and procedures, including those relating to Health & Safety
· Comply with all Client & company privacy & security protocols
· Achieve all company driven Key Performance Indicators
· Maintain good long-term relationships with clients and all associated contractors
· Develop and apply a good knowledge of the company's range of services
· Develop and apply a good understanding of clients' businesses and products

- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
· Assist new starters when required
· Always understand and apply the company's vision and core values
Position Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Management or related field.
- Three to five years of related business development experience and a proven track record of meeting/exceeding goals
Physical Requirements
· Ability to lift, carry and otherwise move up to 10 pounds on a regular basis
· Ability to sit, stand or walk for various lengths of time throughout the day
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
· Ability to communicate effectively with clients and co-workers
· Ability to operate general office equipment daily
· Ability to commute on a regular basis via motor vehicle and, as necessary, via airplane
Position Status
· Full time, $ 45,000 base salary plus commission
Hours
· Monday-Thursday 9:00am - 5:00 pm CT, Friday 9:00 am - 12:00pm CT
· Travel - less than 20%
· Hybrid Position - 3 days per week remote, 2 days per week required in-office in Valparaiso, IN.
