Assistant Salon Manager – Full-Time Cosmetology Career Sport Clips of Poplar Bluff 3101 Oak Grove Road, Suite 2, Poplar Bluff, MO 63901 Leadership Opportunity for a Licensed Missouri Cosmetologist Total Earning Potential Up to $75,000 Per Year Lead, Coach, and Grow With Sport Clips Sport Clips of Poplar Bluff is seeking a confident and motivated Assistant Manager to help lead our salon team. This position is designed for an experienced stylist who wants more responsibility, stronger earning potential, and a clear path toward future management opportunities. You will continue working with clients while also helping guide the team, support salon operations, and create a workplace where stylists can perform at their best. The Poplar Bluff salon is owned and operated by Jesse Keyser, an accomplished multi‑unit salon operator with extensive experience building successful salons and developing team members into strong leaders. Your Role on the Leadership Team In this position, you will partner with the Store Manager to: Help organize and direct daily salon operations Provide coaching and real‑time support to stylists Encourage exceptional service and strong client relationships Help improve client retention, productivity, and retail performance Assist with interviewing, onboarding, and training new team members Support scheduling and staffing needs Maintain high standards for cleanliness, organization, and professionalism Address client concerns with confidence and care Help create an accountable, energetic, and supportive team culture We Want to Meet You If You Are A licensed Missouri cosmetologist Experienced in providing professional salon services Comfortable taking initiative and making decisions Skilled at communicating with both clients and coworkers Positive, dependable, and team‑oriented Interested in coaching and developing other stylists Motivated to grow into a Store Manager or higher leadership role Available to work a flexible schedule, including some evenings and weekends Previous management experience is valuable, but we will also consider experienced stylists who have demonstrated strong leadership potential.
