Executive Producer – Managing Director Studio Space Cowboys is a decentralized creative production & post-production company with our lead studio in New York and branches everywhere the internet reaches. We build worlds with directors, photographers, CGI/AI artists and new-media thinkers, collaborating with brands, labels, art spaces, and agencies around the globe. We’re about big ideas, cutting-edge tech, and very real human connection. The Role We’re looking for an Executive Producer – Managing Director who can lead and grow with us. You’ll be the bridge between creative ambition and operational clarity : As Executive Producer, you’ll drive business development, lead client relationships, and keep projects flowing. As Managing Director, you’ll oversee the systems that keep the studio running: finance, HR, operations, and reporting lines. Ideally NY or LA based, can discuss remote. The fit matters more than the format. What you’ll actually do: Oversee day-to-day operations (finance, HR, admin, production workflow) Keep projects flowing smoothly, on time, and on budget Put scalable systems in place and ensure accountability across the company Manage and mentor creative + production teams Lead pitches, build client relationships, and bring in new business Bring in new business and grow our global network Balance financial performance with creative experimentation Who You Are 10+ years in creative industries, production, post, agency world, or tech (bonus if you’ve danced in all worlds) Strong track record of business development and company operations Experienced in financial management, HR oversight, and building processes Comfortable running teams, budgets, and client relationships at once Equally at ease in a boardroom, a set, a creative jam or a Notion dashboard Excited by the intersection of tech, creativity, and people A builder: you know how to turn vision into structure without killing the magic The Spirit Space Cowboys is a playground, a lab, a living organism built by and for people who breaks molds.
