About the Role
The Company is seeking an Associate Vice President of Business Development to lead and drive impactful strategies in the Midwest region. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining strategic relationships with industry leaders, brokers, consultants, and key decision-makers to expand market presence. This role involves creating and managing a robust client pipeline, collaborating with cross-functional teams for seamless client onboarding, and analyzing market trends to present tailored solutions. The AVP will also be tasked with developing and executing annual sales plans, negotiating terms with new clients, and achieving or exceeding annual sales targets through innovative initiatives. Applicants must have a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and a minimum of 5 years' experience in sales or business development, with a preference for those with 7 years' experience. A background in claims management, insurance, or risk management is highly desirable. The role requires a proven track record in achieving sales goals, exceptional negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building skills, as well as proficiency in Excel and CRM tools. The ideal candidate will be able to travel up to 50% and should possess the high energy and stamina necessary to thrive in a dynamic, results-driven environment.
