This role will be responsible for driving new business and creating demand for GP products with our leading portfolio of group purchasing organizations (GPOs) and cooperatives (Co-Ops). The Business Development NAM will develop, lead, and implement value-added campaigns and initiatives that support the overall national accounts vision and create profitable long-term growth for GP. This home-based position will report to the Vice President of National Accounts.What You Will DoWork closely with Strategic Partners (GPO’s & Co-ops) and GP National Account Managers to maximize opportunities for Commercial and Foodservice Solutions growthIdentify opportunities by analyzing detailed data from various reporting sources and leveraging compliance and incentive programs, preferred product positions, and general market insights to overall increase category growthLeverage Strategic Partner relationships and align resources from internal and external stakeholders (i.e., GPO’s/Co-ops, Endusers, Distribution, GP sellers, Category, Marketing, etc.) to promote GP and drive business developmentDevelop and lead Sales Campaigns/Initiatives that connect GP sellers (National, Local, Virtual) with Distributors to target end users and secure new business and or enhance category penetrationCreate tools and processes to help facilitate internal knowledge sharing across GP sales organization.Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)Bachelor’s degree or 4 years of sales experience3+ years of outside sales or equivalent experienceExperience using the Microsoft Office Suite of Outlook, Teams, PowerPoint, Word, and ExcelValid US Driver's LicenseMust be willing to travel up to 50%What Will Put You AheadExperience selling to or working at a national GPO or Co-OpBusiness to business sales experience with large national accounts or larger multi-site customers and distributionContract negotiation experience, financial acumen, and P&L managementExperience with salesforce.com or other CRMFor this role, we anticipate paying $80K - $150K per year.
