Evening Shift Line Cook
Job Summary
Blue Palms Health and Rehabilitation Center at Fletcher is seeking a skilled and dedicated Evening Shift Line Cook to join our culinary team. As a key member of our dietary department, you will play a vital role in ensuring the health and happiness of our residents by preparing and serving delicious and nutritious meals. Responsibilities:
Prepare and cook a variety of meals and snacks for our residents, adhering to dietetic and cultural requirements
Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations
Participate in menu planning and inventory management to ensure efficient food preparation and minimize waste
Collaborate with dietary staff to ensure timely and quality meal service
Develop and maintain a positive and respectful attitude, providing excellent customer service to our residents and families
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent required
1+ year of experience in food service or a related field (n/a)
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
Certification in food safety and handling (n/a)
Strong communication and teamwork skills
