Job Description As a Security Officer Corporate Patrol in New York, NY , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $18.50 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeTue03:00 PM - 11:00 PMWed03:00 PM - 11:00 PMThur03:00 PM - 11:00 PMFri03:00 PM - 11:00 PMSat03:00 PM - 11:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or property staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Respond to incidents, maintenance concerns, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with property management and/or emergency personnel as needed. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout lobbies, common areas, parking areas, and the exterior perimeter to help identify unusual activity and/or security-related concerns at the location. Monitor access points and building activity, assisting with visitor directions, policy awareness, and/or reporting of suspicious behavior to help support daily operations. Complete routine reports, incident documentation, and shift activity logs, sharing relevant information with Allied Universal leadership and/or site contacts. Minimum Requirements: Possess a New York State Security Guard License. Be at least 21 years of age. Customer service experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
