Join Allied Universal as an Armed Patrol Officer at a government transit location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents, and support riders, visitors, and staff through strong communication and customer service. In this armed role, you will bring integrity, teamwork, and reliability to a dynamic environment while helping people first through professional, responsive service.

Pay Rate: $33.70 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a public transportation location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining professionalism in a government facility environment.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of stations, platforms, entrances, offices, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
• Monitor access points and restricted areas, verify credentials when required, and report unusual activity, hazards, and/or policy violations according to site protocols.
• Maintain an armed presence in assigned areas, support incident documentation and communication, and coordinate with site contacts and/or public responders when appropriate.

Minimum Requirements:

• Provide proof of high school diploma or GED.
• Possess a law enforcement officer license.
• An armed guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
