Job Description As a Armed Security Officer Patrol in Bronx, NY , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Join Allied Universal as an armed patrol officer at a dynamic financial institution location, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help reduce security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $39.22 / Hour Job Schedule: Mon 08:45 AM - 05:15 PM Tue 08:45 AM - 05:15 PM Wed 08:45 AM - 05:15 PM Thu 08:45 AM - 05:15 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a financial institution location. Respond to alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and/or communicating with local authorities when needed. Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the location, including interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter access points. Monitor access activity, verify credentials as required by site policies, and help to deter unauthorized entry and/or suspicious behavior. Support cash handling and other sensitive operational areas through visible presence, observation, and timely reporting of security-related concerns. Minimum Requirements: Possess a concealed carry weapons permit. Possess an armed guard card and/or license. Possess a corrections officer license. Possess a law enforcement officer license. Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Participate in industry-specific security training programs. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
