Part-time Accountant

(25 hours per week) LHH Recruitment Solutions is working with a Corporate Management company to fill a temp-to-perm PART-TIME Accountant position located in Midtown, Manhattan (only in office a few days per month). This position will be part-time on both the temporary side and permanent side when it converts, so the company is searching for candidates who are specifically targeting part-time opportunities indefinitely. Responsibilities: Managing full cycle Accounts Payable process including vendor management, invoice matching/coding, and payment preparation Auditing employee expense reports and reconciling credit card statements for corporate cardholders Processing incoming payments, applying to appropriate accounts, preparing/analyzing aging reports and managing light collection efforts Reconciling bank statements monthly for multiple accounts Heavily involved month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close process with Accounting team including financial reporting Preparation of journal entries Ad-hoc reporting or analysis as it comes up Qualifications: Previous experience with NetSuite is required to be considered 3+ years of general accounting experience required Schedule: Primarily remote, but required to go into the office in NYC a few days per month Hours: Must work within a 9 - 5 PM schedule, but schedule within those hours can be broken up according to candidate's preferences 25 hours per week indefinitely, including after the role shifts to permanent Employment Type: Temporary-to-Permanent Equal Opportunity Employer/Veterans/Disabled To read our Candidate Privacy Information Statement, which explains how we will use your information, please visit #J-18808-Ljbffr LHH
