Registered Nurse - CVICU

Job Summary:
The RN CCU provides specialized care to cardiac patients in a critical care setting, ensuring optimal clinical outcomes through expert nursing practices. This role requires adherence to safety, compliance, and documentation standards to support patient recovery.

Responsibilities:

• Administer blood products, medications, and treatments according to physician orders and clinical protocols.
• Monitor and interpret patient vital signs, cardiac rhythms, and other critical indicators.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to coordinate patient care and implement care plans.
• Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of patient assessments, interventions, and progress.
• Ensure compliance with infection control policies, safety procedures, and vaccination requirements.
• Educate patients and their families on post-discharge care and health management.

Qualifications:

• Hold an active nursing license with current certification verification.
• Possess BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications as applicable.
• Demonstrate proven experience in critical care, preferably within a Cardiac Intensive Care Unit.
• Exhibit strong clinical judgment and critical thinking skills.
• Maintain compliance with vaccination and health attestations.
• Ability to work 12-hour day shifts, including orientation participation.
