Job Summary:
Responsible for preparing, cooking, and presenting food for catering events while maintaining high standards of quality, hygiene, and customer satisfaction. Works closely with catering managers, chefs, and event staff to ensure successful food service.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook a variety of menu items according to recipes and specifications.
• Assist with menu planning and food preparation schedules.
• Measure, portion, and assemble ingredients for large-scale events.
• Ensure food quality, taste, and presentation meet company standards.
• Maintain food safety and sanitation standards in accordance with health regulations.
• Monitor food inventory and notify supervisors of supply needs.
• Package, transport, and set up food for off-site events when required.
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
• Assist with cleaning kitchen areas, equipment, and workstations.
• Work collaboratively with catering staff during event service.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Experience in food preparation and cooking, preferably in catering, banquet, or commercial kitchen environments.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
• Ability to prepare large quantities of food efficiently.
• Strong time-management and organizational skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift heavy supplies.
